Sponge Iron Plant Expansion with Allied Units

Prosols was engaged as the lead consultancy partner for a major capacity expansion of an existing sponge iron facility in Odisha, India. The project scope extended far beyond plant augmentation, encompassing the strategic planning, design coordination, and implementation of multiple allied units to create an integrated and self-sufficient production ecosystem.

Our mandate included the setup of a high-efficiency Ferro Alloy Plant to support alloy steel manufacturing, a Chrome Ore Briquette Plant to optimize raw material utilization, and a Captive Power Plant to ensure energy self-reliance and operational continuity. This integrated approach was tailored to elevate the client’s production capabilities while reducing external dependencies and long-term operational costs.

Prosols delivered comprehensive, end-to-end support across all stages of the project—right from feasibility analysis, technical and regulatory due diligence, and project financing facilitation, to vendor selection, procurement management, on-site execution supervision, and risk compliance.
